The Taiyo Nippon Kisen Co.,Ltd. (TNKC) Manning Forum 2014 held last March 11-12 in Kobe, Japan was attended by representatives of Manning Agents from the Philippines, Bulgaria, Ukraine, “K” LINE MHRG and TNKC ROHQ – Manila OCHG, TNKC BEJING and TNKC KOBE. TNKC President Hishashi Yasui, who delivered the welcome address during the event, highlighted the importance of closer collaboration among members to achieve the goals and vision of TNKC.

The presentation of representatives came after his speech and covered topics about Company History, Number of Staff, Organizational Set-up, result of latest audit and next audit schedule for ISO Certification, Number of Manned Vessels, 2014 Manpower pooling, Hiring and cadetship program, Statistics on P&I case, Summary Report of Crew Transfer to other companies and the reasons behind the transfer, Summary of Crew Who Failed in PEME- Analysis, 2014 Utilization Report on “K” Line Crew Family Insurance in comparison with the 2012- 2013 Utilization Report, Special projects, Company plans for development of  TNKC pool and office quality improvements,  the status of supply and demand in the current market situation, and competitiveness of TNKC salary. The gathering was capped off with a Kyoto Tour on the 13th of March.
