Our newsletter “The Bridge” has come a long way these past 18 years since our maiden issue in 1993. Perhaps not so much in format but definitely in circulation.

Ventis prints 2000 copies which are distributed to all our stakeholder namely our seafarers, their families, our principals, partner school and training centers, and some government agencies such as the POEA.

Naturally we try to provide all these stakeholders some reading value through our articles, stories, and pictures. This quarter’s issue is no exception and includes a little bit of reading pleasure for all of you.

Be it our inspiring cover story on the heroic exploits of our Ventis crew on the Daio Azalea, or the informative article on coping with loneliness onboard, or perhaps the poetic talent of Capt. Sawakar on the “K” Team, whichever catches your fancy we hope you will find some value and enjoyment in reading this issue.

It is our aim that in our own small way through this newsletter, we are able to connect and bridge the various members of the K-Line family whom we serve.
