(Dedicated to my Wife Joy)
When I started to walk
And begun my journey
looking for my shoes
All by my self and
my bare lonely foot
Searching for true happiness
and comfort
But the road seems all uphill;
and full of thorns
It never stops hurting my feet.
I walked through the rain
and fascist storm
And I’ve learned bow to live
in freezing cold
I walked through the fire
burning my soul
And I’ve learned how to live
in a world full of hatred.
I walked as far as my feet can go
Ignoring the pain made by the road
It doesn’t matter how badly I’ve hurt
For I know that is how life goes.
Every failure gives something to learn
Every pain teaches a new lesson
If things can’t kill you it will make you strong
And when I found you, I felt I’m home.
Oh’ how so blind I was for long
I didn’t see you right in my font
You are the shoes that I’m longing to own
Your truly love and care is my great protection
My shoes…My wife…My home…
